Your First Visit

Here are some helpful tips to maximize your Renaissance Dental experience. To help us better understand the nature of your dental needs, when you call our office to make your appointment tell us exactly what seems to be your chief concern regarding your teeth or mouth. Try to be specific. Your main concern may involve getting out of pain, chewing better, feeling better and/or looking better. Tell us what end result you would like to see or experience regarding your mouth.

If you wish to use dental benefits, have your plan and group numbers handy when you call us. This way we can verify the details of your benefits plan and inform you of any out-of-pocket expenses prior to your exam or treatment. It is our philosophy not to surprise our patients with unexpected bills.

Your first visit will most likely involve your examination and consultation with Dr. Ferro and will begin with a review of appropriate radiographs (x-rays). If you happen to have current diagnostic quality radiographs, bring them with you on your appointment.

After your exam, Dr. Ferro will explain to you the nature of your problem, the consequences of not treating it and options on how to treat it. This is the best time to ask him all of your clinical questions. Dr. Ferro welcomes questions as they show the patient is involved in their treatment. He greatly believes in patient education and patient involvement. If you call us with a question, you will get an answer within minutes not hours or days.

After your exam, one of our administrative personnel will review your out-of-pocket expenses for your treatment and schedule your return visit for treatment.

We will confirm your appointment 48 hours prior and possibly also 24 hours prior to keep your appointment secure.
